Manager Pep Guardiola: Guardiola arrived at Manchester City from Barcelona in 2016, and his quickly-developed possession-based style quickly won over the fans. His side finished as runners-up in both his first season in charge, and again in 2017–18. In 2018–19, however, Guardiola guided his team to an unprecedented treble – winning the Premier League title, FA Cup and League Cup – making him only the third manager to achieve this feat after Alex Ferguson (Manchester United) and Jock Stein ( Celtic ).
